ADR Client Certs for 2.0b

by | Sep 30, 2019 | Trouble Shooting Open ADR 2.0b-Group

This guide applies to 2.0b only.

Within the 2.0b spec, most VTN servers will require the VEN to have a client cert.

Once you obtain a client cert from Kyrio, you may then put the cert into the GRIDlink via GRIDview.

To do this, follow the steps below.

Step 1

From the home page, click on Device > Files

If there is a file with file path /nvram/gridlink/client.pem, click on the edit button on the right side of the page.

otherwise click on the New Text button at the bottom of the page.

Copy and paste the following file path into the “Load Path” text box:

Step 2

Copy and paste the private key that has been provided to you by kyrio, into the text box.

Directly below, paste the public cert. The text should look like the exampled image.

Step 3

Once the key and cert have been pasted into the text box, change the “Status” to Pending and click Save at the bottom.

This will pend the file to be captured by the GRIDlink. Once the file has shown to be successful it is suggested that the GRIDlink be rebooted. Please wait at lease 5 minutes after pending the file to allow the GRIDlink to complete the text installation properly.
