Network Planning
This procedure is applicable to all GRIDlink ADR products intended for deployment on the customer’s network. If a cell router is provided, please disregard this guideline.
Network Planning
If it is intended to test after installation using the Cloud then the local network provided should have a path to the Internet.
Static IP Address
GRIDlinks come pre-configured as DHCP clients for your convenience. If the customer network requires a Static IP Address, see Change DHCP to Static IP – E Series
Static IP Pre-Installation
If you cannot create a network with the same IP addressing system during the pre-installation staging phase, we highly recommend changing the Static IP as the final step before installation in the field after all testing is completed.
