GRIDlink Gemini Relay Wiring

7 available relays for control logic.

    • 2 Pre-Event Relays – One per VTN, which are energized for a configured time period before the Event and go OFF 1-2 seconds before the Event Starts. The control logic will not allow either Pre-Event relay to energize if either VEN is in Event.
    • 2 Moderate Event Relays – One per VTN, which are energized when the Event Starts and remain ON for the duration.
    • 2 High Event Relays – One per VTN, which are energized when the Event Starts and remain ON for the duration.
    • 1 Pending Event Relay, which is energized when the Event is called and remains ON for the duration.
Relay 782-2C terminals

All relays ar DPDT and can be wired to NO or NC terminals. The Pending relay is used for the beacon and has 1 extra NO/NC contact available for use.

If the VTN’s share a common load then only the 3 VEN1 relays should be used and the relay configuration code should be 2. If there are 2 separate loads then the code will be 4. The configuration is set in GRIDview and the installer needs needs only to advise how the relays were wired.
