Change sxClient / GRIDview – Telnet
Changing the GRIDview sxClient via Telnet is a relatively simple procedure. This procedure is for GRIDlinks which have been pointed to a different server and now wish to switch.
Connect via Ethernet
If the GRIDlink IP Address is Static then peer to peer connection will work otherwise the connection should be made over the LAN.
Telnet port 23
root
Tech Support will supply the password
Once in using vi editor, edit this file.
vi /nvram/sxcd/sxclient.ini
i Enter (to enter edit mode)
Change the baseurl line to baseurl=https://na.gridview.technology/x
Esc key (to enter command mode)
:w Enter (to Save file)
Esc key (to enter command mode)
:q Enter (to quit vi)
This completes the editor
To reboot
shutdown -r now
